About Me

PJ Profile Pic.jpeg

Jose Vasquez is the Lead Pastor of Church At The Bridge in Newburgh, New York, a multiethnic and multigenerational church rooted in helping people make a real connection with God and with one another. He is a husband, a father, and a shepherd at heart, passionate about walking with people through the real battles of faith, identity, and purpose.

He writes from lived experience, not theory. His heart is to help people grow stronger on the inside, develop spiritual discipline, and learn how to walk with God daily—not just when life is loud or convenient. Whether preaching, mentoring, or writing, his aim is always the same: to help people encounter God in a way that truly transforms their lives.

Urban Ministry Leadership

He also serves leaders carrying the weight of complex urban communities. He provides training, coaching, and leadership development for pastors and teams serving in under-resourced contexts, helping them build healthy systems, strengthen discipleship, and pursue long-term sustainability without losing their souls in the work.

Services include:

  • Training and workshops for urban ministry teams

  • Cohorts and coaching for pastors and key leaders

  • Sustainability strategy for churches serving impoverished communities
